State Level Special Project for 2009-2010

is equipping the AB Men's Disaster Relief Trailer located in the Capital Region vicinity.

Our goal is to raise $12,000.

With this $12,000 we will help the men purchase items necessary so the trailer will be fully outfitted. This includes many types of tools such as hammers and saws, as well as work gloves, towels, flashlights, blankets, compressors, trash pumps, generators, and pressure washers. Funds are needed for travel expenses and to rent equipment. Your support in prayer and encouragement is greatly appreciated by these volunteers.

In the past ABMen from NYS have helped after the World Trade Center attack in 2001 by cleaning the apartments of people living in the vicinity of the twin towers. Several teams were sent to Wiggins, Mississippi and Napolianville, Louisiana to help clear away fallen trees after Hurricane Katrina. When floods hit in the Binghamton area, volunteer teams were there serving in Sidney and Bainbridge. Last December men from Clifton Park cleared away downed trees and limbs after an ice storm in their area.

We all know how much good this can do. Please help us to equip the trailer. Funds will be taken right up to the last offering for this project at the Annual Convention in April.

Please download the brochure for the project, share it with your church and with your women's group so we can raise the money towards this very needed project.
