AB GIRLS … Spring 2021
A witness to positive change…
Blessed assurance Jesus is mine! O’ what a foretaste of glory divine! Heir of salvation purchase of God, Born of His Spirit washed in His blood.
The word of this song echoed the long halls of my mind when my Grandmother was still at work and outside of resting in her Reward.
This is my story. This is my song, Praising My Savior, all the day long.
How infectious the words are for trying times that, for me, as for so many if not all, who have been in an ongoing uphill battle.
Praising my Savior; all the day long.
I think of my Grandmother singing the Great Hymn of the church and choosing which is better to focus on; praise and gratitude.
Praising My Savior; all the day long.
Our Father is perfect, and in His perfection, the battle that is not ours “belongs to the Lord!”
Reflection is positive when done positively—looking over this past year. So much is out of my hands, your hands, Our Hands. In good days and not-so-good days and even those that are worst than any other. ” Lord have your way, I trust You.”
Perfect submission, perfect light! Vision of rapture now burst on my sight; Angels descending bringing from above. Echoes of mercy whispers of love.
Grandma would say, “the choice is yours; if you can get mad, you can get glad.” Happiness is a choice!
This is my story; this is my song. Praising my Savior; all the day long.
I am not overlooking the trails, the loss, the heartaches, and the heartbreaks. There have been more than a few.
Perfect submission – all is at rest, I in my Savior am happy and blest;
Yet, even when I don’t understand. “Lord, I trust you, thank you for Your Grace, mercy, joy, and peace!”
Watching and waiting, looking above, Filled with His goodness, lost in His love.
The battle is not ours; the test is ours to pass. The choice is happiness. “Jesus, I trust you!”
This is my story; this is my song.
Thankful for a Grandmother that prayed and sang. Lesson learned.
An Attitude of Gratitude!
Praising my Savior; all the day long.
