Blinking Wishfully

Where did the summer go?  It seems we blinked and it is on its way out.  Life has been busy for many of us and not always in ways that have had our smiles on and hearts full.  I know many of us are still wishfully thinking we had time even as the vacations end and school begins.

As the month of September progresses, I’m beginning to get back into the swing of things both mentally and physically.  I’ve wishfully thought of all I had hoped to accomplished and trusted that I have done exactly as God needed me to.  I’m trying to see what God is going to do both in my life and our home here on the web.

Housekeeping Here

To that end I’ve been working on some housecleaning both physically and virtually. 🙂

Have you read Lillian’s welcome on our homepage?  I think she has epitomized our theme and our coming year.

See the seasons; the beauty of re-birth in Spring, the long days of Summer when we can relax and enjoy the outdoors, the beauty of color in Autumn, and the beauty of a fresh fallen snow in Winter.

Just See….

I can’t wait to see what God has in store for us.

Have you seen the top bar?  The dates for the 2017 Annual Convention have been announced!  April 28-30, 2017 at the RIT Inn and Conference Center in Rochester, NY.  Our arrangements committee has been busy getting everything organized behind the scenes for our upcoming gathering.  Please keep the convention committee in prayer as they work to make the event a blessing for all of us.

What is on your calendar?

I know many of our local ABW groups are getting going again.

As you do send me your events, open to anyone passing by your area, and I’ll include them here on our page.

Give us a peek at the future, let us see what ministries God has going on right here in NYS through our American Baptist Women’s groups.  Instead of blinking wishfully for the summer leaving us, lets wishfully think of the opportunities to come.

Blessings, Rebecca
