Local Mission – Community Missions of Niagara Frontier

Every year at Convention there is a local mission that is chosen so we can make an impact at the local level. This year our Local Mission is the Community Missions of Niagara Frontier, Shelter Outreach and Follow-up Initiative.

Most needed:

Financial Donations help to purchase large items that are necessary for setting up a household.

Other needed items:

Gift Cards

  • Tops Grocery Store

Dish Soap

Package of sponges (with scouring pads or box of steel wool pads)

Rolls of aluminum foil

Rolls of plastic wrap

Ziploc bags (sandwich size)

Liners for kitchen garbage can

Paper towels

Laundry items:

  • Clothes hamper
  • laundry bags
  • laundry baskets
  • laundry detergents


Dust pan and Brush

Mop (sponge or cloth) / mop pail

Scrub brush

All-purpose cleaner

Toilet brush

Fabric softner

NEW bed pillows

Towels (bath, hand, washclothes)

Pot holders

Clothes hangers

Set of pans (6-8 qt / 2 smaller saucepans / frying pan)

Think about it

Think about what it would be like to start over. Think of the impact that as American Baptist Women we could make if each of us brought something small to help support this project. Every gift, even a gift card for $5.00, adds up.
